Maintenance Prompt

Upload a whole folder to Webflow, structure intact

Point at a folder and have it uploaded straight into Webflow Assets with the subfolder structure preserved, so nothing lands in one flat pile.

Webflow MCP
Prompt
Grab the folder at <FOLDER PATH> and upload it to my Webflow Assets panel
directly, respecting the folder structure. Do not flatten the subfolders.

Before you start, list what you are about to upload, grouped by folder, and flag
anything that looks like a duplicate of an asset already in Webflow or any file
that is unusually large. Then upload once I confirm.

Walkthrough

This is a pure upload job with no conversion, for when your files are alreadyweb-ready and you simply want them inside Webflow, organised the way they sit onyour machine.

The Webflow Assets panel does not have a way to drag in a nested folder and keepits structure, so doing this by hand means uploading files in batches and losing the organisation. Claude reads the folder and recreates the same structure inside Webflow for you.

The prompt asks for a preview first: a list of everything grouped by folder, plus a heads-up on duplicates and oversized files, so you can catch mistakes before anything goes live rather than after. Useful when handing a site over to a client, or topping up an existing library with a fresh batch of assets.
